This project involved the construction of a new MARC station building in Edge- wood Maryland with full architectural mechanical and electrical support ameni- ties including water sanitary natural gas electrical emergency power and com- munication lines connecting service mains along Old Edgewood Road with the station. Two new shelters were added one features a built-in lift. The entire main parking lot was repaved and a new stormwater management system was installed underneath. Complex ADA ramps were constructed on both the southbound and northbound sides of the station making the facility ADA-compliant for the first time in its history.
